Brandon and I got road bikes earlier in the spring and have been enjoying going on some rides. David and Melina went on a 15 mile ride with us one evening! We rode all the way to Mount Timpanogos Temple and watched the sunset on the way back home.
David and Melina are pros.
One day we'll be cool and ride with clips, but not today.
We decided to go on a pick-nick one afternoon at our favorite spot. We took Frankie with us to the park, where we enjoyed some yummy food and sunshine.
My man and his buddy.
Summer time also means outdoor sports. Jaclyn had some free tickets and invited us to come to the Bees game. We had a great time cheering for our team and eating plenty of junk food.
Frankie and I spent many days having play dates with her little buddy Diesel. They are out of control together.
After play dates it was time for Rocco's. The fish tacos there are amazing!
Our beautiful girl!
Delicious!
Our neighbors got some little piglets and Frankie was very curious. We love Frankie, she is such a joy to have in our home.
The weather has been so nice, we got to take the boat out and enjoy some waterskiing. We went to Jordanelle reservoir very early in the morning and got some great water.
Brandon showing off his skills. Of course we stopped by Kneaders for some breakfast, their french toast is my favorite.
I'm loving this warm summer weather! I can't wait to enjoy the adventures this summer brings.

Camping
Spring brought some really good and warm days. We decided to pack our camping gear and go camping with our friends, David and Melina. We went to Mona and were able to bring Frankie with us as well.
Our camping home.
Handsome husband.
David, the fire builder. Frankie has never seen fire and was so curious about it.

Frankie went swimming with the boys.
Our little family. We had a wonderful time with great company!
Get Some
I surprised Brandon and took him to a shooting range. We met up at Get Some with our friends, Mason and Kelsey, and has a blast! I've never shot a gun in my life, so this was a first for me. Brandon was in heaven! This is for sure something we will do again.
I was a little scared to have a gun in my hands.
AK47 for the Russian.
Mason showing us how it's done.
Kelsey was a pro!
Fire!
I was amazed at my aim. Hit the zombie and the targets.
"Brains!"
Happy husband.
Little scared to be holding a rifle.
Don't mess with this couple!
I love our spontaneous dates! This is for sure one of the best ones!

Brandon's Birthday Week!
My handsome husband celebrated his birthday on the 29th. We have a little tradition for birthdays: Birthday Week! A week full of daily celebrations, here are some of the things we did this year:
* Frankie and I went to cheer Brandon on at his softball game. Afterwards we headed to Dairy Queen.
* We went out mini golfing with Mark, Jaclyn, David, and Kelsey. It was Mark's birthday and we had a really fun time. I even got a hole in one!
He is so handsome!
* Celebrated with my family. I made Tres Leche cake per Brandon's request!
Blowing out the candles!
Bradley and his sweet uncle, they are the best of buds!
* Went out to one of our favorite places: Happy Sumo, and stuffed our bellies with delicious sushi!
*Went on a beautiful hike in Provo Canyon with friends and our pups.
Frankie and Buckley tired themselves out!

Made a new friend while hanging out by the creek.
*I took Brandon to a RSL game! We got to see three goals and a fantastic win for the home team!

Feels Like Lightning Running Through My Veins
I can't believe the warmth outside! It has been a wonderful spring in the Farmer household. Brandon's cousin got married March 29th and we got to attend his wedding reception just down the street form our house.
The following morning, we got our running shoes out and participated in a 5K fundraiser run for Nick. Nick is Brandon's cousin that has been in a hospital since January. He suffered a heart arrhythmia that deprived his brain of oxygen, this caused an anoxic brain injury.
Jaclyn brought her camera and documented the whole event! Look at this sleepy faced bunch.
The turnout was incredible! The event was full of people who know Nick and it was so touching to see everyone coming together to support Nick and his family!
Everyone that came, got to sign a HUGE poster at the finish line!
We all love Nick and wish him a speedy recovery!
Breakfast post 5K run.
First family photo. Frankie got to join us after we finished the run. We had a wonderful time and it was good to run for an amazing cause!
